We are offering your school the opportunity to partner with CPI to arrange an event that highlights the importance for staff to better recognise, prevent and respond to fight incidents in school.
What can you expect during this session?
DATE and TIME
YOU choose a time that suits your calendar of events – you may already have a teach meet planned you’d like us to come and present at. We would recommend 1.5 - 2 hours in length.
LOCATION
You choose the best space you would want to host visiting colleagues to your school.
ATTENDANCE
We can discuss the ideal number of attendees to make this event successful.
This may be based on room capacity. As a host school you can include your own staff up to a maximum of 25% the total number of attendees registering.
ABOUT THE EVENT
A lead trainer will present a core understanding around the actual cost of managing behaviour in schools. We will pay close attention to the moral and ethical debate around ”Positive handling” and highlight the importance for a consistent approach to a safe school culture of behaviour management.
A behaviour clinic about whole school solutions
After an engaging presentation, attendees will engage in a facilitated discussion delving into the current challenges faced by education practitioners.
Attendees will leave empowered with actionable ideas around managing all behaviours in a calm, consistent, reasonable and proportionate way.
They will also have the opportunity to learn more about our latest programme Breaking Up Fights™: Intervention Skills Training as well as the full Education Training package for improved culture and behaviour change.
Complete the form to express your interest in partnering with CPI to host this event and we will reach out to answer questions and discuss this opportunity.
This new CPI programme encompasses the strategies required by staff to break up fights safely between students and pave the way for more confident staff to consistently embed an effective culture of behaviour management.
